SCENE 1: THE INCEPTION — SOLAPUR TO PUNE
"I stepped into the tech ecosystem with a simple goal: to build scalable tools that solve everyday friction. Completing my B.E. in IT at Savitribai Phule Pune University (graduating with a 9.20/10 CGPA) laid the groundwork. That is where I discovered my fascination with distributed architectures."
SCENE 2: THE SCALE-UP — BENGALURU DEVELOPER HUB
Cut to Bengaluru. Sunil leads end-to-end POS interfaces and optimizes heavy NATS queues processing 100K+ events daily. The code becomes robust, the servers run clean, and CPU usage stays flat.

System Architecture & Design Patterns
Event-Driven & Serverless
Decoupling services through high-throughput asynchronous message queues. Designing systems that process events dynamically without locking operational threads.
- Ingestion Rate: 100K+ events/day processed via NATS JetStream and Kafka pipelines.
- Fail-safe mechanisms: Configured ACK/NACK retries and Dead Letter Queues (DLQ).
- Serverless execution: Optimizing AWS Lambda compute boundaries for dynamic operations.
Microservices & Monoliths
Designing modular services that work in harmony. Transitioning massive monolithic applications to clean, decoupled microservices for high horizontal scale.
- Multi-tenant isolated routing: Serving 10K+ active users across multi-tenant RBAC nodes.
- Kubernetes scalability: Tuning container OOM parameters by converting in-memory processes to streams.
- gRPC communication: Implementing low-latency internal communication between distributed servers.
Design Patterns & MVC
Utilizing structural and behavioral patterns to ensure codebase readability, testability, and fast iteration. Sticking to MVC rules for clean separation of concerns.
- Mediator Pattern: Handling decoupled async message routing between independent services.
- Singleton Pattern: Securing single-point connection pools (PostgreSQL/Redis) to avoid exhaustion.
- MVC & State: Separating business models, Express routes, and Zustand frontend state layers.
Filmography
Chronological Releases & Productions
Production: Neokred Blockbusters
Role: Software Engineer II (Backend / Full Stack) • Bengaluru
- Led end-to-end frontend development of the APOS (Point-of-Sale) platform using Next.js, React, Zustand, Tailwind CSS, and TypeScript, building billing, inventory, customer management, onboarding, and product administration systems.
- Collaborated across cross-functional teams to define reusable frontend architecture patterns and accelerate feature delivery.
- Leveraged AI-assisted engineering workflows using Claude Code and structured agentic development practices to accelerate development, testing, and code reviews.
- Developed secure fintech integration workflows for the CollectBot platform by integrating external banking APIs, building wrapper services, and protecting sensitive financial data using symmetric and asymmetric encryption techniques.
Production: Facctum Features
Role: Software Engineer (Full Stack Engineer) • Bengaluru
- Designed and led development of a centralized event-driven Audit Logging Platform using NATS JetStream and PostgreSQL, reliably processing 50K–100K events/day across multiple SaaS products.
- Architected configurable audit pipelines with ACK/NACK retries, dead-letter queue handling, and controlled batch-based asynchronous processing, improving ingestion reliability and preventing PostgreSQL connection pool exhaustion under burst traffic.
- Contributed significantly to the development of a centralized multi-tenant RBAC Admin Platform supporting 10K+ users, enabling tenant onboarding, feature management, and role-based access control during the organization’s transition from SaaS to PaaS.
- Built tenant-aware authorization middleware enforcing feature entitlements, role-based permissions, and API-level access validation across distributed backend services.
- Optimized high-latency APIs operating on 100K+ row datasets using indexing, pagination, and request throttling, reducing database load and improving response latency.
- Resolved Kubernetes OOM failures in a dynamic Excel export service by redesigning workflows from full in-memory processing to chunked streaming-based processing, enabling stable exports of 200K+ records compared to the previous implementation failing beyond 5K records.
- Collaborated with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable SaaS platform capabilities, while mentoring interns and junior engineers in backend development and distributed systems fundamentals.
